Visit the Bat Trang Ceramics Village Temple of Literature in the Old Quarter while enjoying a water puppet show

8.30 Am: Pick up from your hotel in Bat Trang village on the banks of the Red River 20km from central Hanoi. Bat Trang is one of the country ‘s most famous traditional craft villages specializing in porcelain craftsmanship. Founded over 700 years ago Bat Trang takes its name from the Chinese word for the large areas where the bowls are made. Bale means bowl and Trang means separate area. 

Upon arrival we will visit the public house that commemorates the founder of the village of porcelain artisans. A special tour of a family factory. Your guide will explain the process of making ceramic products and you may have the opportunity to work with the artisans. Take a walk to explore the countryside, visit some traditional pottery kilns and browse the beautiful products in the shops. Enjoy your time shopping for souvenirs.

Return to the city center, have lunch (at your own expense) and then visit the Confucius Temple. The Confucius Temple was built in the 11th century during the Ly Dynasty and was used to worship Confucius and educate the royal children. You can walk through the gardens to Khue Van Cac, an important landmark of the city. Then we visit the World Heritage Monument inscribed with the names of outstanding students. Continue your tour of Imperial College, considered the first national university in Vietnam.

Finally enjoy the unique water puppet effect first published in the 11th century. These shows depict the daily life culture and beliefs of the Vietnamese people through water puppets. The show also has its roots in traditional music. 

Return to your hotel. End of work for the day.

Bike to Thung La Temple and enjoy boating and embroidery at Van Long Nature Reserve.

8:00 AM: drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh through the beautiful Red River Delta region home to rice and vegetable fields. 

Take a 15km circle (optional) or walk through the village. Riding along the stream offers beautiful views of rice paddy rivers and limestone mountains. There are several stops where you can take beautiful photos or meet the locals and then explore the 11th century Thang La Temple on foot. Meet Mr. Tuang the guardian of the temple and enjoy a 20-minute authentic conversation and knock performance. 

Then explore the beauty of the Van Long Nature Reserve with a boat ride through the river and the limestone mountains. If you are lucky you can see white monkeys and egrets in the hills. After the boat tour visit the village of Sulaman and a type of embroidery under the guidance of Mrs. Lam is a local sculptor. He proudly explains his artistic tradition. This is your chance to make a costume like a real artist. 

Return to your host family at the end of the day. Enjoy the midnight Red River Delta

Explore the diversity of nature on a 3-4 hour national park tour to see endangered primates

08:00: One-hour departure from the hotel to Cuc Phuong National Park. Located southwest of Hanoi, Quoc Phong National Park was officially opened in 1960 as Vietnam’s first nature reserve. Rainforests are home to a rich and diverse flora and fauna. Upon arrival visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center where rare Vietnamese primates are bred and rescued. Continue visiting the Turtle Project and go to the center of the park. Eat a grilled lunch at home before going out for a walk in the middle of the park. 

Enjoy a fun and easy 3-4 hour trek through the rainforest in open view of the majestic landscape of mountains and ancient limestone valleys. We rested at a large old tree along the way. Take a short trip to the First Man Cave before returning to your hotel.

Transfer to Tuan Chau islands to explore Lan Ha bay, admiring the wonderful seascape, swimming in the less touched area of Ao Ech

From Ninh Binh we depart for Halong Bay. Your journey passes through a series of villages and rice fields in the Red River Delta. Stop for drinks and toilets. The cruise arrives at port at 12:30pm. A warm welcome. You board the support vessel and disembark and cross the bay to board the luxury cruise ship. A variety of special dishes and appetizers are served along with hot welcome drinks, cold towels and hot snacks. Once you step into our luxury junkyard you’ll be disappointed. Life doesn’t get any better than this! We drove to Lan Ha Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

15:30: Visit Dark & Bright Cave, famous for its untouched natural beauty and poetic and breathtaking sea views in Lan Ha Bay. Here we take romantic and lyrical pictures of local places. It is also the best time for tourists to enjoy bamboo boating and swimming, which are exciting activities to explore the true beauty of the limestone mountains and blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. Visitors can then immerse themselves in the emerald green waters of Langha Bay with exciting swimming activities or enjoy the mini pool with jacuzzi on the Peony Cruise. 

17:30: Return to the Cruise. Enjoy a sunset party at Lan Ha Bay. For photography enthusiasts this is a great time to capture the magnificent sunset moments at LanHa Bay.

7:30 PM: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the Cruises restaurant. 

21:00: Enjoy the bay’s nightlife from the top deck. Relax on the boat while soaking up the music and enjoying cocktails from the popular movie bar. You can go squid fishing with the crew or relax in your room and admire the bay from your balcony. Spend the night on a cruise ship.

Visit Trung Trang Cave for a leisurely lunch on departure from Hanoi

From 6:30 to 7:30, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Peony Cruise restaurant.

At 8:00, we will reach the Frog Pond area, where you can kayak and relax in the four-season mini pool on Lan Ha Bay – a stunning landscape of green mountains, blue seas and diverse wildlife.

At 9:30, check out of your room and have lunch at the restaurant. Settle any extra charges (if any) at the reception while we head back to the port.

At 11:15 – 11:30, disembark and transfer to the port.

At 11:30 – 11:45, you will arrive at Tuan Chau International Marina Station.

Our driver will welcome you at the harbor and take you back to Hanoi on the new highway No5B, passing through the Red River Delta and villages. You will be dropped off at your hotel (in the Hanoi Old Quarter).

Our private driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby (Hanoi Old Quarter) and drive you to Noi Bai airport (international or domestic hall according to your request) in about 45 minutes.
