On the 8th day of the Real Taste of Vietnam 13 days tour, after having breakfast with a selection of dishes at the hotel, you will continue your journey to explore Hue – Hoi An with our local guide. The first itinerary of the day is to move to a farm in Tra Que village and participate in agricultural activities with local farmers. 

For lunch, we invite you to enjoy local dishes such as spring rolls, sizzling pancakes… and relax comfortably with a foot massage service locally. Finally, we will all get in the car and return to visit the beautiful culinary land of Hoi An with a rich cuisine background.

In the afternoon, we will welcome you to visit the house of a lantern maker in Hoi An. Here, you will be introduced to the history of the appearance of this type of lantern, its shapes, colors and the process of making them. You can also make a lantern by yourself as a souvenir.

Day 9: Enjoy the cuisine of Hoi An

We will start exploring the cuisine of Hoi An which always captivates tourists. The beautiful land of Hoi An is famous for many exquisite dishes, charming cafes and enticing street foods such as: baguette, cao lau, sizzling pancake, mini savory pancakes…. 

  • Bread: This is a dish that many local and foreign tourists choose because of its delicious flavor. This type of bread is made from flour and butter, sandwiched with grilled meat and characteristic spices of Hoi An land creating a unique flavor that no other land has.
  • Cao Lau: A type of noodles that are chewier than regular noodles. It’s processed by professional street vendors. The flavor is very fragrant and appealing.
  • Banh Beo: To enjoy this cake, you have to move into the small alleys. This dish is quite popular in Hoi An and it is also a traditional cake of Vietnam.
  • Banh khot: A type of cake in a round shape, made from rice flour, turmeric powder, quail eggs, coconut milk and vegetables. This type of cake is often sold at locations near Hoai Square.

Day 10: Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh
