Itinerary

Arrival in Danang, welcome, and transfer to Hoi An.

Upon landing at Da Nang airport, our professional tour guide and driver will greet you at the pickup lobby. During the approximately 30-45 minute drive from the airport to your hotel. 

Enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful coastline to your hotel, complete the check-in process, and unwind.

Note: If you arrive in Hoi An early, we will arrange a city tour  instead of the scheduled activities for the second day.

Discover Hoi An through cycling and walking, visiting Tra Que organic herbs village and Cam Thanh village.

8:00 AM: Hotel pickup and heading to Hoi An town center. Begin the exploration at Cam Pho, one of Hoi An’s oldest communal houses. Its unique architecture symbolizes the cultural and trade connections between the local community and Chinese and Japanese traders

Exploring My Son Sanctuary, Champa culture, unique architecture, relax on beach

At 8:00 AM, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Embark on a half-day excursion to the sacred valley of the Champa Kingdom. My Son, located 40 km from Hoi An Town, held significant importance as the intellectual and religious center of the Champa Kingdom and possibly served as a burial site for Cham monarchs.

Designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, My Son preserves 70 ruined architectural structures made of bricks and stones, constructed between the 7th and 13th centuries. Your tour guide will provide insights into the cultural, historical, and architectural significance of each relic as you explore at a leisurely pace. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness a traditional Champa dancing show before departing from the sanctuary.

After the excursion, you will be transported back to the city.

Travel to Hue and explore the Cham Sculpture Museum, Hai Van Pass, Thien Mu Pagoda, and Hue Citadel.

At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel and begin the journey to Hue, passing through Da Nang along the scenic coastal road. 

On the way, we will make a stop at the Cham Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Cham culture artifacts. Afterward, take a walk on My Khe Beach, where you can admire the magnificent statues at Linh Ung Pagoda and capture photos of local fishermen. Continuing our drive along the coastline, we will reach the ancient capital of Hue. Pause at the top of the Hai Van Pass to marvel at the breathtaking view of the ocean.

Upon arrival in Hue, enjoy a delicious lunch before commencing our sightseeing. Our first stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest and most revered pagodas in Hue, dating back to 1601. Admire its magnificent octagonal tower and take in the beautiful view of the Perfume River.

Next, we will visit the iconic Hue Citadel, the remaining symbol of the once majestic imperial city of Vietnam. Inspired by Vauban’s fortifications, the citadel is divided into three sections: Kinh Thanh (the Capital City), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial City), and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City). Within this area, you will discover remarkable sites such as the flag tower, the South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Dynasty Temple area, and the settlement area.

As the day comes to an end, we will assist you with the hotel check-in, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the ambiance of this ancient capital. Enjoy your stay and embrace the historical charm of Hue.

Embark on a delightful boat trip along the Huong River, visiting Tien Non, Thanh Tien, and Sinh villages, before departing from Hue by train.

At 8:00 AM, we will transfer you to the Huong River, also known as the Perfume River, where you will board a Royal boat for a scenic journey to the villages located in the eastern part of the city. This boat trip offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the local life along the picturesque riverbanks. Upon reaching Tien Non village, disembark and hop on a bicycle to explore the countryside, passing through three charming villages: Tien Non, Thanh Tien, and Sinh village. Along the way, you will experience the authentic rhythms of daily life in these villages.

In Tien Non village, interact with the villagers working in the fields and vegetable gardens. Take a moment to visit a family worship house, gaining insights into the local customs and traditions. Continue your journey to Thanh Tien village, renowned for its intricate paper flower craftsmanship that dates back 400 years. During the New Year festival, the villagers create beautiful paper flowers to offer their ancestors as a symbol of good wishes. Visit Mr. Hieu’s family, esteemed artisans in the village, and learn the art of making paper flowers under their guidance. Proceed to Sinh village, known for its 400-year-old tradition of producing exquisite folklore prints. Meet Mr. Phuoc, who will share the techniques of traditional printmaking with you. Discover beautiful souvenirs crafted in this village. Finally, return to the city by boat.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Khai Dinh King’s tomb, situated on Chau Tru hill. This tomb, constructed over 11 years from 1920 to 1931, showcases a unique blend of Oriental and Western architectural styles. Ascend the hundred steps leading to the worship palace at the summit. Marvel at the stunning decorations, including delightful porcelain fragments, a grand ceiling painting, and an adjacent small museum showcasing royal artifacts. As you descend, enjoy a panoramic view of the tomb and its surroundings.

At the conclusion of the tour, we will drop you off at the train station for your departure to the north.

Note: There are two recommended trains available for your journey to Dong Hoi (for visiting Phong Nha, Paradise, and Dark Caves) or Hanoi. Departure times are at 15:31 PM and 16:47 PM.
