Itinerary

Arrive at Hue railway station and be greeted by our guide and driver.

Drop off your luggage at the hotel before embarking on a royal boat trip along the Huong River. Enjoy a bike ride through Tien Non, Thanh Tien, and Sinh villages, immersing yourself in the local life. Explore Tien Non and Thanh Tien villages’ paper flower craftsmanship and learn traditional prints in Sinh village. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and explore Hue Citadel’s historical treasures. 

Return to your hotel, carrying the essence of Hue’s beauty and history with you.

Visit Khai Dinh Tomb, travel to Hoi An via scenic Hai Van pass, exploring Cham sculpture museum, Hoi An half day city tour

7:30 AM: Begin your day with a hotel pickup to visit the enchanting Khai Dinh King’s tomb. This extraordinary tomb, built over 11 years, showcases a unique blend of oriental and western styles. Climb the hundred steps to reach the worship palace at the top and be amazed by the exquisite porcelain fragments, a magnificent ceiling painting, and a small museum showcasing royal objects. As you descend, enjoy a panoramic view of the tomb and its surroundings.

Continue your journey to Hoi An along the Mandarin Road and through the picturesque Sea Cloud Pass (Hai Van Pass). Pause at the pass to take in the breathtaking view of the ocean and Da Nang city. In Da Nang, visit the Cham Museum, home to valuable collections representing the Cham culture. Take a stroll on My Khe beach, capturing the beauty of the Goodness of Mercy statues in the Linh Ung Pagoda and the local fishermen at work. Follow the coastal route to Hoi An, a charming ancient town.

In the afternoon, explore Hoi An’s well-preserved Old Town. This former bustling trading port, dating back to the 15th to 19th centuries, showcases a fusion of cultures evident in its historic buildings, religious sites, and daily life. Begin at Cam Pho, one of the oldest communal houses, representing the cultural and trading exchanges between the locals and Chinese and Japanese merchants.

Continue your leisurely walk to the iconic Chua Cau, also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge, an architectural gem that has stood for 400 years, connecting the Japanese and Chinese quarters. Explore Quan Thang ancient house, a fine example of oriental architecture and sculptures crafted by artisans from the renowned Kim Bong carpentry village. Immerse yourself in the daily life of a Hoi An family.

Conclude your tour at Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly Hall, a gathering place for residents, traders, and visitors from the Fujian region of China. Admire the vibrant fountains in the courtyard, the ornate gates, and the intricately carved dragons in the main room, as you learn about the religious significance of this site honoring the deity Thien Hau.

Finally, you have the option to return to your hotel or continue exploring the city at your leisure.

Exploring Kim Bong and Tra Nhieu by bicycle, embarking on a boat journey to Cam Thanh village, and engaging with the friendly locals.

Meet at your hotel and embark on a cycling adventure to Hoi An pier. Cross the Thu Bon river by ferry to reach the renowned wood-carving village of Kim Bong. Explore the village, witness the artisans’ talent at a carpenter’s workshop, and consider purchasing wood products as souvenirs.

Continue cycling through scenic trails, passing rice paddies and bamboo bridges, until you reach Tra Nhieu village. Immerse yourself in the peaceful countryside and meet locals skilled in mat weaving, bamboo sampan basket making, and boat-building at Mr. Huynh Ri’s shipyard. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes of palm and rice fields, accompanied by buffaloes and farmers.

Next, embark on a boat trip along the Thu Bon River to Cam Thanh village. Admire the fishing farms and water palm trees along the way. In Cam Thanh, experience crab catching in the water palm tree forest aboard a small round bamboo sampan basket boat. Afterward, relax at the house of a fisherman, Mr. Phong, where you can enjoy green tea and a foot massage using medicinal herbs from the family garden.

Participate in a cooking session using fresh vegetables and herbs from Tra Que village. Learn to prepare typical dishes such as crispy pancakes, spring rolls, Tam Huu, and grilled fish in banana leaf. Indulge in the delicious dishes you have prepared.

Exploring My Son Sanctuary, Champa culture, unique architecture, relax on beach

At 8:00 AM, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Embark on a half-day excursion to the sacred valley of the Champa Kingdom. My Son, located 40 km from Hoi An Town, held significant importance as the intellectual and religious center of the Champa Kingdom and possibly served as a burial site for Cham monarchs.

Designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, My Son preserves 70 ruined architectural structures made of bricks and stones, constructed between the 7th and 13th centuries. Your tour guide will provide insights into the cultural, historical, and architectural significance of each relic as you explore at a leisurely pace. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness a traditional Champa dancing show before departing from the sanctuary.

After the excursion, you will be transported back to the city.
