Start in Hanoi, the charming capital of Vietnam, where you can explore its rich culture, history, and cuisine. Then, board a cruise ship and sail through the stunning Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site with thousands of limestone islands and caves. Next, visit Hoi An, a quaint town that preserves the architecture and relics of the ancient Cham civilization. From there, fly to Ho Chi Minh City, the vibrant and modern metropolis of Vietnam, where you can learn about the country’s wartime history at the Cu Chi tunnel complex. Welcome to Vietnam! On arrival, be picked up by a tour representative and transferred to the hotel.

Accommodation: Hotel in Hanoi
At 8.00 am, be picked up at hotel then departs for Halong Bay (approximately 180 kilometres) Here you’ll embark on board an overnight cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage-Listed area. Settle into your deck chair and cruise through picturesque emerald waters while marvelling at the towering limestone karst islands. Enjoy a seafood lunch before taking part in some afternoon activities such as swimming, relaxing on a remote beach, climbing to the top of a lookout for an amazing panoramic view or taking a ride on a rowing boat into a secluded bay.
Cruise further into the bay to visit a pearl farm before watching a cooking demonstration featuring traditional Vietnamese cuisine, followed by dinner on board. Drop anchor in the late evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks.
Please note: We recommend packing an overnight bag only for your cruise. The remainder of your luggage will be securely stored or you can take all of your belongings onboard if you’d prefer.

Wake early for an optional tai chi class on deck before enjoying breakfast and climbing aboard the tender for a visit to Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), a colourful grotto of giant stalactites and stalagmites.
Return to the boat and enjoy a short cooking class where you will learn to prepare local delicacies such as spring rolls. You’ll then enjoy a light brunch on board, followed by a relaxing trip back into port where you will disembark and return to Hanoi.
Arrive back Hanoi arround 3.00 pm, check into the hotel.
Eevening is leisure. Alternatively, you can choose to take part in an optional evening activity (not included).
Optional Activity: Water Puppet Performance & Vietnamese Dinner – $35 per person
Sit back and watch a traditional and unique performance of water puppetry originating in the Red River Delta of northern Vietnam. Each show lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes lively illustrative Vietnamese pastoral scenes of rural daily life as well as fairy legends. Afterwards, head to an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant in the Old Quarter and feast on a dinner of authentic dishes.
Please note: Depending on the timing of the water puppet performance, dinner may be enjoyed prior to the show.

This morning, at 9.00 am, set off on a walking tour to discover the real life of Hanoi people.
Walking through French Quarter, Old Quarter an visit a local market, ancient houses in 3 hour with local guide.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Hoi An.

This morning, at 9.00 am, set off with your local guide on a walking tour to discover the ancient town of Hoi An. Visit to the Museum of History and Culture, which showcases relics that span 2,000 years of Hoi An’s rich history. Gain insight into the local heritage and view several Cham artifacts and photographs before continuing on to the Japanese Covered Bridge, constructed in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link it with the Chinese quarters. Stroll through the central market, discover various fresh and dried ingredients used to create delicious Vietnamese food and meet some of the local vendors. Step into the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, dedicated to Thien Hau, the goddess of the sea. Finally, uncover the unique architecture of Tan Ky’s ancient house. Built over two centuries ago, the design highlights the influence of both European, Vietnamese and Chinese styles.
Finish the day back at the hotel for an afternoon of leisure. Alternatively, join an optional local market cooking experience (not included).
Optional Tour: Cam Thanh Basket Boat with bicycle – 40 USD per person
This afternoon, at 2 pm Ride a bike to Cam Thanh Coconut Village with local guide, on the way you can explore the beautiful views of Vietnamese countryside. Then take the bamboo basket boat to the Coconut jungle to visit and learn to make some products from coconut leaves
Enjoy welcome drink and take a rest at restaurant, then join the cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what food you have cooked. Then, ride a bike back to hotel.

Optional Activity: Full-Day Tour of Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge & Da Nang – 70 USD per person
at 7.30 am, you will be picked up from the hotel and travel to Ba Na Hill Station. Take a cable car to Ba Na Hills to enjoy amazing views. Here you will visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), a flower garden – Le Jardin D’amour, Linh Ung Pagoda, a wax statue museum and the iconic Golden Bridge. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore this resort park before travelling onwards to Da Nang where lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, return to Hoi An at 4 pm.

Today, you will be transferred to Da Nang airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) which is located in the south of the country (approximately 1 hour flight).
Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel accommodation where you may enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Optional Activity: Saigon Motorbike: Food & Sights – 40 USD per person
Food and Sights is a 4-hour tour, which combines Street Food, Main Sights and Unseen Parts of Saigon together, which promises to give you a wonderful flavor of the city, culture, history, and cuisine. Each person will have a private licensed driver.

At 8.00 am, drive approximately 60 kilometer to the Cu Chi Tunnels, constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the country’s long fight for independence.
Watch a short introduction video to learn more about their construction before exploring a section of tunnels used as hospitals, schools, kitchens, weapon storage, command centres and living quarters.
The hidden tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by foreign troops and was at one stage home to around 10,000 people.
View the remains of American tanks and numerous bomb craters before returning to Ho Chi Minh City around 2 pm. Afterwards, spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Optional Activity: Mekong Delta Tour – 45 USD per person
This morning, at 8.00 am, you will be picked up from the hotel and travel approximately one and a half hours to the city of My Tho on the banks of the Mekong.
Upon arrival, board a motor boat and cruise along the river to Xep Canal where you will transfer to canoes in order to navigate the smaller canals. These canals are lovely places where you can escape the traffic of the main river. Here you will cruise under coconut trees before arriving at a small islet.
Disembark and walk around a small local village. Stop at a local family’s home to enjoy tropical fruit, honey tea and wine and listen to traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers. Afterwards, continue onwards to another islet where a traditional Vietnamese lunch will be prepared by a local family (included).
In the afternoon return to Ho Chi Minh City and your hotel accommodation.

Today, at 7.45 am, you will be picked up at the hotel to begin your journey to Phnom Penh, Cambodia by way of a tourist bus.
Stop at the Vietnam and Cambodia Moc Bai Bavet border for visa processing (visa cost not included) and then continue onwards to Phnom Penh. This journey of approximately 230 kilometres can take anywhere between 6 to 8 hours depending on the visa processing times at the border. However, an optional flight upgrade option is available.
On arrival, be welcomed by the tour guide and transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to spend relaxing or exploring Phnom Penh.

• For customers who would prefer to fly to Phnom Penh rather than take the tourist bus, a flight upgrade option is available for US$ 120 per person which includes an afternoon flight from Ho Chi Minh City and airport transfers in Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh.

Today is free at leisure to explore the capital city of Cambodia or alternatively, you may choose to join an optional Phnom Penh city tour.
Optional Activity: ‘Choeung Ek’ Killing Fields & Phnom Penh City Tour – US$ 80 per person
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel to explore the capital city with its bustling Central Market, the Independence Monument and Wat Ounalom. Enjoy a set lunch at a local restaurant, before continuing onwards to the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the notorious ‘Killing Fields’ of Choeung Ek, gaining deep insight into the painful rule of the Khmer Rouge. Afterwards, you will visit the Royal Palace and the sacred Silver Pagoda, which is known for its silver-tiled floor. Upon completion of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

At 8.00 am, be picked up at hotel and depart on an approximately 320-kilometre journey for Siem Reap by way of a tourist bus. Pass through the provinces of Kandal, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom. On arrival, be greeted by a tour guide in Siem Reap and transfer to the hotel for an afternoon of leisure.

Today, at 8.00 am, set out on your full day tour to Angkor Wat.
See the south gate of Angkor Thom, then visit the Terrace of Elephants, which used to be a base for the king’s grand audience hall and the Terrace of the Leper king, which was a terrace that housed the royal crematory.
Afterwards, enjoy a set lunch at a local restaurant before visiting Ta Prohm Temple which has been deliberately left as it was discovered. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, and the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat.
Later, transfer back to the hotel for an evening of leisure.
