Itinerary

Ho Chi Minh City arrival, welcome and transfer to hotel

Be picked up by a tour guide and driver at the airport lobby. During the 30-minute drive to the city center, your guide will highlight the city’s attractions and provide insights on food, drinks, traffic, and culture. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival.

Exploring Saigon City a  full day tour: Independence palace, walking tour, War Remnant museum, Ben Thanh market

These remarkable tunnels were meticulously hand-dug over two decades using only basic tools. Experience the tunnels firsthand with a special guided tour. Nearby, you’ll also visit the lesser-known Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, built in 1993 to honor the Vietnamese lives lost in Cu Chi.

Next, venture to the awe-inspiring Cao Dai Temple, one of Vietnam’s most sacred attractions. Caodaism is a distinct Vietnamese religion that incorporates elements from Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and even Roman Catholicism. If you time it right, you can attend the midday mass, a fascinating cultural experience.

Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in the afternoon, filled with unforgettable memories of this remarkable journey.

Embark on a Mekong discovery from Saigon: boat trip, biking in Ben Tre, visit craft village, interact with locals, garden tour, overnight in a homestay.

Begin your day at 8:00 AM with a hotel pickup for a transfer to the captivating region of Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, renowned for its coconut candy production.

Arrive at Hung Vuong pier and embark on a delightful boat trip along the Ben Tre River, immersing yourself in the local daily life. Cruise through a canal to Nhon Thanh Village, where you’ll have the opportunity to savor fresh fruits. Hop on a bike or tuk-tuk and traverse charming village paths, soaking in the scenic beauty of coconut groves, rice fields, and vegetable gardens.

Indulge in a delectable lunch featuring the famous elephant ear fish in the village, followed by a leisurely walk to delve deeper into the local way of life. Experience a serene boat ride along a small canal shaded by wild palm trees. Disembark in Ben Tre and enjoy a 1-hour transfer to Cai Lay. Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from your homestay host. Start the day with a homestay breakfast and a scenic 1-1.5 hour bike ride from Dong Hoa to Tam Binh. Pass by durian, sapota, and longan gardens, and meet friendly locals. Visit the local village market before returning to the homestay for refreshments. (Optional: Take a 1-hour walk with a local guide and cycle to Ngu Hiep Island, known for its fertile garden created by the Mekong River’s alluvium. These excursions offer a unique and authentic experience.) If biking isn’t your preference, ask our tour guide for a motorbike ride.

Next, we’ll transfer to Long Xuyen via Sa Dec.
