• Continue to Nguyen Hue walking street and visit the stunning Saigon Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel.

• Conclude the day with a visit to the famous Ben Thanh Market, ideal for shopping and savoring local street food.

8h00 Am: Embark on an extraordinary journey starting from your hotel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a significant site in Vietnam’s history.

Explore Cu Chi, an extensive underground city stretching over 250km, where the Viet Cong waged their resistance against American forces during the Vietnam War. These remarkable tunnels were meticulously hand-dug over two decades using only basic tools. Experience the tunnels firsthand with a special guided tour. Nearby, you’ll also visit the lesser-known Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, built in 1993 to honor the Vietnamese lives lost in Cu Chi.

Next, venture to the awe-inspiring Cao Dai Temple, one of Vietnam’s most sacred attractions. Caodaism is a distinct Vietnamese religion that incorporates elements from Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and even Roman Catholicism. If you time it right, you can attend the midday mass, a fascinating cultural experience.

Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in the afternoon, filled with unforgettable memories of this remarkable journey.

From Saigon to Mekong delta, visiting Cai Be, boat trip, biking, overnight in Mekong Delta

Meet our tour guide and driver for a transfer to Cai Be. Visit Cao Dai temple along the way. Upon arrival, board a private boat for a mesmerizing cruise along the Mekong River branch, immersing yourself in the vibrant life of the canals adorned with orchards.

Explore craft workshops for rice popcorn, coconut caramel, and rice cakes. Discover the ancient Phu Chau pagoda on village paths, where tranquility reigns, and interact with the friendly locals. Indulge in a delicious lunch at an open-air restaurant, savoring the famous local specialty, the elephant ear fish. Conclude your day by rowing a small boat in the canals, shaded by fruit trees, while relishing the delightful flavors of seasonal fruits.

Continue your boat journey to Vinh Long and meet the driver at the pier for a transfer to Can Tho. Arrive in Can Tho in the late afternoon and check in at your hotel. Enjoy your free time to explore the city situated along the Mekong River.

After breakfast, head to the pier for an exciting boat trip to the bustling Cai Rang floating market, the largest in the Mekong Delta. Marvel at the vibrant colors and aromatic scents as hundreds of sampans brim with rice, fruits, and crafts, all ready for early morning trade.

Depart from the market and continue your boat journey through picturesque canals, visiting a fruit garden (or optional nursery field by the river). Proceed to An Binh Market, teeming with an array of fish, fruits, and vegetables. Make a stop at the iconic Binh Thuy ancient house, featuring an enchanting orchid garden that served as a filming location for “The Lover.”

Return to Saigon in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred back to your hotel, bringing an end to this memorable adventure.

A private driver will conveniently collect you from the hotel lobby for your transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport, taking approximately 30 minutes.

Please note that for international flights, it is recommended to be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure, while for domestic flights, 2 hours is advised.

During rush hours (07:00 – 08:30 AM and 16:30 – 18:30 PM), the travel time from the city center to Tan Son Nhat airport may extend to approximately 1 hour.
